Three (3) Board of Directors seats are open for nomination and due by January 12, 2010. There are five (5) Board Members serving two (2) year terms with alternating election years. If you are interested in nominating a candidate to the Board of Directors, you must return this form with two (2) Active Member endorsing signatures, along with a biography of nominee to the Alaska Film Group Board of Directors no later than January 12, 2010. To be eligible for election, each nominee must appear before the membership or send a representative to both the nomination meeting on January 21, 2010 and the Annual Meeting on February 25, 2010. Each nominee will have an opportunity to state the nature of his/her candidacy and answer questions from the membership. No new nominations will be accepted from the floor. In turn, the Alaska Film Group Board of Directors will send candidate biographies to general membership postmarked by February 4, 2010. Included in this list of biographies will be a notice that those voting members unable to attend the election on February 25, 2010 may vote by mailing an enclosed absentee ballot.
